When an employee’s employment ends, each employer can determine what happens to the benefits of the departing employee. The employer decides whether the employee can use up the Smartum benefits after employment has ended or if the Smartum account will be closed and the benefits will be deactivated. So, ask your former employer whether you can use up your balance at your own pace, if there is urgency regarding this, or if your account will be closed immediately.
If the Smartum benefits from your previous employer remain usable, you can also receive Smartum benefits from your new employer. You can activate the benefits from your new employer normally. You can use both sets of benefits concurrently in the SmartumPay mobile app.
