How do I register for the benefit and activate my Smartum benefits?

This article explains how an employee registers for the Smartum benefit offered by their employer.

Activating SmartumPlus Benefits:

  1. Accept your SmartumPlus benefits via the activation link sent to your email from your employer by clicking the "Activate benefits" button in the email.

  2. Click "Activate benefits" in the next view -> Read and accept the terms of agreement.

  3. Confirm the activation of SmartumPlus benefits with your online banking credentials or Mobile ID.

  4. Your benefits are now successfully activated. If you receive a notification that the activation link has already been used or has expired, please contact your employer.

Next, you can log in to the SmartumPay app. If you don't already have the SmartumPay app on your device, you can download it from your app store. You can find the free SmartumPay app in the App Store (for iOS devices), Google Play Store (for Android devices), and AppGallery (for Huawei devices). You can search for the app directly on your device's app store using the keyword "SmartumPay."

If you already have the SmartumPay app and are logged in, your benefits will appear in the app. If new benefits don't appear, try logging out and logging back in using strong authentication or Mobile ID.

SmartumSaldo benefit activation

Since the SmartumSaldo benefit is provided by your employer, you need to register for the benefit through your employer. You will receive a registration link from your employer, through which you can register to receive the benefit.

Once you receive the registration link from your employer, follow these steps:

1. If you don't have a Smartum user account:

  • Click the registration link in the email sent by your employer.
  • Register and fill in your personal details. If your employer offers multiple benefit options, choose one of them.
  • Accept the terms of use for Smartum Saldo.
  • Confirm your registration at the bottom of the page.
  • You will receive a confirmation email stating that your registration was successful.
  • You will receive another email with a link to set your password for the Smartum online service.
  • Use these credentials to log in to the Smartum online service, where you can manage your Smartum benefits and personal information.

Your employer will approve or reject your registration after the registration period ends and place the order for the benefit. You will receive an email when the benefit has been loaded onto your account and is ready to use. You will have access to your SmartumSaldo benefits once your employer has completed the order.


2. If you already have a Smartum user account:

    • Click the registration link in the email sent by your employer.
    • Log in with your credentials. If you have forgotten your password, you can request a new one here. You will receive an email with a link to set a new password.
    • If your employer offers multiple benefit options, choose one of them.
    • Accept the terms of use for Smartum Saldo.
    • Confirm your registration at the bottom of the page.
    • You will receive a confirmation email stating that your registration was successful.
    • Your employer will approve or reject your registration after the registration period ends and place the order for the benefit. You will receive an email when the benefit has been loaded onto your account and is ready to use. If there are any uncertainties regarding the distribution timing of the balance benefits, it is advisable to confirm the timing with your employer.

If you are unable to register for the benefit during the registration period, please contact your employer.

Once the benefit is available, you can log in to the SmartumPay app. If you don't already have the SmartumPay app on your device, you can download it from your app store. The free SmartumPay app is available in the App Store (for iOS devices), Google Play Store (for Android devices), and AppGallery (for Huawei devices).
