How do I pay at online store with Smartum?

You can pay with Smartum online payments when the service provider has enabled the Smartum payment method on their own online store.

When you pay for our partners' services in the online store, we will direct you to the new Smartum payment platform. On the platform, select the Smartum payment method you wish to use.

  • If you are paying with Smartum employee benefits, choose employee benefits as the payment method. 
  • If you are paying with a Smartum Giftcard, select Smartum Gift Card as the payment method.

When you have selected the products you want to buy in the online store and chosen Smartum as the payment method, you will log in to your Smartum account using strong authentication. After this, you return to the online store and receive a receipt from the company providing the service.

With online payments, you can pay for multiple products or services for your own use. According to tax regulations, tax-exempt employee benefits can only be used for personal products or services, so you cannot use online payments to pay for services intended for another person.

Products purchased with online payments are subject to the same return and cancellation terms as those in the online store of the payment recipient. All return and cancellation issues are entirely between the payment recipient and the payer, and Smartum is not responsible for refunds. If you make an erroneous payment, please contact the service provider who received the payment.
