How do I add money to OmaLompakko?

If the Smartum benefit you receive has a specified personal contribution portion, the employer can enable the OmaLompakko service for employees, so the personal contribution portion is deducted directly from OmaLompakko when making a SmartumPay payment. Money added to OmaLompakko never increases the amount of available Smartum benefits but is only for paying the personal contribution portion.

Please note that money transferred to OmaLompakko cannot be refunded to the employee, as the personal contribution portion is for the employee to access the benefits provided by their employer. Therefore, deposit money into your OmaLompakko only according to the personal contribution portion.

Please note that if the employer has not enabled OmaLompakko for employees, it is not possible to transfer money to OmaLompakko.

  1. Open the SmartumPay app and navigate to the Accounts tab from the bottom panel.
  2. Open the OmaLompakko view from the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Press the Add Money button.
  4. Enter your email address for sending payment receipts and the amount you want to add to OmaLompakko. Press the Confirm button and complete the transfer with your bank credentials or mobile certificate. Depending on your bank, you may need to authenticate several times, so follow the instructions on the screen.
  5. Once the money has successfully transferred to OmaLompakko, you will receive a notification on the screen and a receipt in your email.
