Customer payments with sports and culture vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, nor will change be given. Customers can use multiple Smartum vouchers for payment at once. They can also combine payment methods, using part of their purchase with Smartum vouchers and the remainder with another payment method.
There are two types of vouchers available: 4 euro sports vouchers and 5 euro sports and culture vouchers. Sports vouchers can only be used for sports services, while sports and culture vouchers can be used for both sports and culture services.
Accepting Smartum Lunch Vouchers
Smartum lunch benefit is a personal benefit offered to the beneficiary, intended solely for paying for their own meal. Lunch vouchers cannot be used for goods, alcohol, tobacco, groceries, ready-made meals, or industrially packaged foods.
Lunch vouchers come in different values. In 2024, voucher values are 11.30€ and 13.50€. There are also vouchers from previous years with different values, which remain valid in 2024.
According to the guidelines of the Finnish Tax Administration, only one voucher can be used at a time when paying with lunch vouchers.
Verification of Vouchers
To prevent counterfeiting, all Smartum vouchers are printed at a secure facility and include multiple security features. Please ensure the voucher is intact, genuine, and not marked as used. Genuine vouchers printed on security paper can be identified by the sequential serial number or by examining it against light. Smartum only processes genuine vouchers.
Also, check the expiration date on the voucher, as expired vouchers cannot be used as payment. Vouchers are delivered in booklets, with a cover sheet that is not intended for payment.
