Purchasing an OwnGiftcard is always optional, and the decision of the benefits user. With expiring benefits, you can purchase either a sports, sports and culture, or massage OwnGiftcard.
The OwnGiftcard is accepted at all the same locations as your expiring benefit. You can purchase the OwnGiftcard through the SmartumPay app one month before your benefits expire.
Here's how to purchase the OwnGiftcard
The OwnGiftcard can be purchased through the SmartumPay app. Make sure your app is updated to the latest version, as buying the Smartum OwnGiftcard is only possible in the newest app version.
When your benefits are about to expire, you'll see the option to purchase the OwnGiftcard in the SmartumPay' Accounts' view, right next to the expiring benefit. Select the amount and type of OwnGiftcard and slide the 'Pay' slider. It's that easy!
The view in the SmartumPay app regarding the OwnGiftcard may vary slightly depending on whether you have a Classic or Plus balance.
Where can I use Smartum OwnGiftcard?
You can use the Smartum OwnGiftcard at all locations within the Smartum network, according to your benefit type.
For example, if your Sports and Culture benefit is expiring, you have the flexibility to purchase a Smartum OwnGiftcard for sports and culture. OwnGiftcard is accepted at all the sports and culture locations within the Smartum network, giving you the freedom to choose where to use it.
If you purchase an OwnGiftcard for massages, you can use it at all massage providers that have an agreement with your employer.
