I made a mistaken payment. What should I do?

It is always the payer's responsibility to ensure that when paying with Smartum benefits, the payment is made with the correct amount to the correct location. You cannot cancel payments you made by mistake yourself. Therefore, always double-check before confirming the payment to ensure you are paying the correct location, the correct amount, and the correct benefit type.

If a payment is made with the wrong amount, ask the service provider to cancel the payment in Smartum's online service on the same day and then make the payment with the correct amount.

If you accidentally make a payment to the wrong location, contact that location and ask the service provider to cancel the payment in Smartum's online service on the same day and then make a new payment to the correct location.

If you notice a payment error later, contact the service provider to whom you made the payment to arrange for compensation of the payment by another method if possible. If necessary, the service provider can contact our customer service for a refund.
